Our ever loving, cuddly Federal Government has amassed a hell of a lot of names on the So-Called “Terrorist Watch List”. How many names you ask? How about One Million.
Today in Washington, D.C., the ACLU’s Technology and Liberty Program (TLP) marked the addition of the 1,000,000th name to the FBI-run Terrorist Screening Center’s terrorist watch list. One…million…names. OMG.
Highly suspicious characters such as Senator Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) are on the watch list. So are the notorious Gary Smith and Robert Johnson. What? You’ve never heard of Gary Smith or Robert Johnson? They’re so dangerous that countless of iterations of them are stopped at airports all the time, all because they’ve got really common names.
Lord Have Mercy. The Federal Government has names on a “List”, that shouldn’t be on there? Say it isn’t so. All and all folks, this is one big Joke. The Federal Government, shouldn’t be involved with aviation, or having some kind of “terrorist watch list”. In my little belief, and being a true Free Market guy, the Airline Industry should be, and should have been a LONG time ago, Privatized.
And when I say Privatized, I mean from the baggage handler, to the security guards, to the air traffic controllers. My reasons being is, when a man or woman, actually has to work for their paycheck, they show results. And when you have a Federal Thug working, he’s more than likely a lazy bum.
So, Happy One Million Names on the Terrorist Watch List. You Stay Classy Fed’s.
