“Government Propaganda Organs look to solidify there status as Government Propaganda Organs”
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Connecticut lawmaker Frank Nicastro sees saving the local newspaper as his duty. But others think he and his colleagues are setting a worrisome precedent for government involvement in the U.S. press.
Worrisome? That’s a big joke. As we know, the majority of the media is a bunch of Socialists. These are the same folks who cheered on Czar Bush, and the Government to Nationalize Banks, the Auto-Industry, and everything else under the sun. So why is it “worrisome” when there is talk of Nationalizing Print Media?
Relying on government help raises ethical questions for the press, whose traditional role has been to operate free from government influence as it tries to hold politicians accountable to the people who elected them. Even some publishers desperate for help are wary of this route.
Tries to hold politicians accountable? I know I’m a bit hung over, but allow me to excuse myself to throw-up again. Aren’t you the same Socialists who want to impose the “Fairness Doctrine” on us again? Come on, let’s get real. The notion of there being a “debate” about this is laughable. Most Print-Media takes it’s cue from the Government on what to report, and what not to report.
Why do you think the majority of Print Journalists and Columnists look down on most of us “Bloggers”? Because we don’t follow the “rules”. And the last time I checked, we the “bloggers” are the ones who have been holding the Government Leeches, Thugs, Politicians, and everyone in between accountable. Spare me the double-speak.
So go on, and solidify yourselves as the parasites that you are. Just don’t go crying to the Federal-Overlords to toss some of us in jail for “sedition” when we expose you for what you really are.
